Bicycles are finally getting the international respect and fashionable kudos they deserve, which is being proven in the pictures, press coverage and bicycle themed fashion spreads being seen internationally. True it can be hard to make a fashionable impact on two wheels when all that is available to ride in NZ is pretty much road bikes and mountain bikes. Authough very practical and not not mention fast (I always laugh when I get overtaken at a furious pace by a dude in lyrca, more power to you buddy!) they do not scream style!
Thank goodness we have the ever stylish people at Oyster Magazine to promote cycling in style. I love this pic from their recent photoshoot called "Lost Boys" and respect goes to the great stylisits and photographers incorporating sweet rides into their photoshoots. I find this image haunting and intriguing at the same time, where are they sneaking off to in the dead of night hhmmm?
Perhaps it's time to assemble the crew for an Autumnal midnight ride... You in?
